I got robbed…still can’t believe it

If something as horrifying as this has ever happened to you then you can truly understand what I have been through.

It was just another ordinary day as I pulled into the neighborhood gas station. I slid my card into the pump and pulled out the handle and started to pump my gas. Feeling a bit worn for wear I turned and leaned back against the car. I swear I really thought a was keeping a sharp eye out! I had noticed  others standing by the tanks of their cars. I had even caught that there were a couple of faces that I couldn’t recognize who were making their way into the store. I jolted suddenly when I heard the handle pop as it released the lever. I had turned towards the car to grab it to replace it in it’s slot when the gust of wind blowing through abruptly stopped. The hairs on my arms began to stand as they were going to do the wave. I shook it off remembering that static causes such a thing. As I went to turn out of the corner of my eye I caught sight of bright orange and was brought to a complete stop. I felt my blood drain and found my hand barely able to hold the handle I felt only seconds before. I felt a slight tremor go throughout my body. My eyes began to sting as they would before producing tears. I gulped back all I could and decided to face my fears. I lifted my chin and with the meanest look I could muster I set my eyes on my enemy. The sight before me was crippling and there was no escape. My breath caught as my mind was sketching an image of the predator that was called…

Please forgive me but I have to share just how horrible and degraded something like this can make someone feel….

What’s even worse is I have this haunting feeling that it is destined to happen again.

  1. oh I completely understand. a single tear runs down my cheek every time this happens.

  2. Ouch…. and what a cliff hanger… almost like a season of 24 coming to a close only to find out the culprit was the gas price.

Definitely makes you wonder how long it will be before people have to reconsider their job because they can’t afford to pay for the gas they need to buy in order to go to work where they can make money so they can afford to pay for the gas they need to buy to get to work…..

    EGADS!!!
